Director Wes Anderson has made movies with a very distinctive visual and storytelling style. Films such as "Rushmore," "Fantastic Mr. Fox," "Moonrise Kingdom," and his latest, "The Grand Budapest Hotel," all provide vivid characters who teeter between haplessness and determination, rendered with humor and insight.
Anderson has worked with only two composers on his films, Alexandre Desplat and Mark Mothersbaugh, and has apparently requested a particular pallet of sound from both composers, emphasizing glockenspiels, mandolins, organ, and jaunty tempos.
